Reminder: Friends of Edmonds Library brewfest and raffle March 24

For the third consecutive year, Gallaghers’ Where-U-Brew will host a fundraiser for the Friends of the Edmonds Library, and this year it will include the Here and There food truck.

The fundraiser is set for Sunday, March 24, noon to 4 p.m. with a prize-filled raffle being drawn at 3 p.m.

“This year in addition to tickets for the Mariners, Sounders and Edmonds Chamber of Commerce events, we’ll also have a number of locally-made products, some by our own volunteers,” said Friends President Luke Distelhorst.

“We really value these partnerships with local businesses, which help us support the Sno-Isle Edmonds Library, as well as our other education- and literacy-focused projects,” he said.

Gallaghers’ will be donating $50 from every full batch of beer brewed on the day of the event, but will also be selling cider and root beer floats and offering a literary-themed tap list. The Here and There food truck operated by Chef Dane catering will have food available for purchase as well.

The event is family and dog friendly and Friends members will be available to speak more about the work they do supporting our local library.

Gallaghers’ is located at 180 W. Dayton St., #105. If you have questions you can contact the Friends of the Edmonds Library.
