Edmonds Mayor Dave Earling will deliver his annual State of the City report at 8:30 a.m. Thursday, March 7 at the Edmonds Theater.
The address includes a review of 2018 and a look ahead to the city’s goals and plans for 2019 and beyond.
Opening remarks will be provided by Teresa Wippel of My Edmonds News and Pastor Barry Crane of North Sound Church.
“We have much to celebrate from 2018 and much to accomplish in 2019,” Earling said. “It’s important to pause and take stock of where we are as a community and where we would like to be at this time next year. Our annual State of the City Address offers a valuable opportunity for our community to come together and reflect upon the previous year and contemplate our plans for a successful 2019.”
This event is free and open to the public and will be videotaped for later broadcast on the city’s website and government channel.
The Edmonds Theater is located at 415 Main St. in downtown Edmonds.
