This male Ring-Necked duck is enjoying the sunny day. His mate loves the spring day as well. Ring-Necked ducks have the ability to jump directly into flight, which allows them to feed in lakes surrounded by trees. This immature Golden-Crowned sparrow hides well in the leaf foliage.
