Warriors sports roundup: Softball, boys soccer results

The Lake Stevens Vikings jumped out to a 7-1 lead after two innings and went on to defeat the Edmonds-Woodway Warriors 10-3 in a non-conference softball game played at Edmonds-Woodway High School.

The Warriors pounded out 14 hits in the contest; Sammy Dickinson went 3-for-4 with two RBI and Nani Marinez connected for two doubles, but it wouldn’t be enough as the Vikings matched E-W’s hit total and took advantage of thee Warrior errors to secure the victory.

In other Edmonds-Woodway sports on Friday, the Warrior boys soccer team played to a 1-1 draw in their match against the Snohomish Panthers at Veterans Memorial Stadium in Snohomish.
