Spring into action at the 4th Annual Community Volunteer Open House set for Saturday April 6, noon to 3 p.m. at the Edmonds Historical Museum. This event, hosted by the museum, highlights local community-driven organizations looking for volunteers to enrich their activities.
“We live in a very special place — people who freely give their time and skills are a big part of what makes our community special,” said Sandra Butterfield, Edmonds Historical Museum’s Volunteer Manager.
Representatives from the museum, along with Art Walk Edmonds, Cascadia Art Museum, Clothes for Kids, Edmonds Arts Festival, Edmonds Center for the Arts, Edmonds Chamber of Commerce, Friends of the Edmonds Library and more will be on hand to talk about events and programs supported by volunteers.
The Edmonds Museum is located in Edmonds’ historic 1910 Carnegie Library at 118 5th Ave. N.. It is open year-round between 1 and 4 p.m. Wednesday through Sunday, but opens early on Edmonds Spring and Summer days. Suggested donation in lieu of an admission fee is $5 for adults, and $2 for students. Learn more at www.historicedmonds.org.
