Easter is coming up, and a reminder that there are two free Easter egg hunts scheduled for Edmonds on Saturday, April 20 — both at 10 a.m.

The Edmonds Daybreakers Rotary Easter Egg Hunt is at Frances Anderson field, 700 Main St. Kids ages 3 to 10 years old are invited to scramble for chocolate eggs, candy and prizes in age-appropriate areas.

There will be three hunting parties:

  • 3- and 4-year-olds
  • 5-, 6- and 7-year-olds
  • 8-, 9- and 10-year-olds
The Easter Bunny will be available for pictures, and kids can also meet firefighters and climb on trucks from South County Fire & Rescue.
All families should bring a basket to collect eggs and candy, as well as nonperishable food or cash donations to benefit the Edmonds Food Bank.
Edmonds Lutheran Church will present The Great Hunt of 2019 at the church, 23525 84th Ave. W., Edmonds. In its 23rd year, the event will feature more than 15,000 candy-filled eggs spread out over the church’s four-acre campus — with different areas set aside by age group.
Children’s entertainment, prizes and refreshments will be provided. There’s also a special appearance by the Easter Bunny.
