Edmonds resident Royce Napolitino to sing National Anthem at July 4th fireworks show

Edmonds resident Royce Napolitino will be singing the National Anthem at the 2019 An Edmonds Kind of 4th Fireworks show Thursday, July 4.

That’s according to an announcement from the Edmonds Chamber of Commerce, which puts on the event.

Napolitino lives in Edmonds with his wife and young daughter. A City of Edmonds Public Works employee, his passion is performing music live. He has also served as emcee of the city’s annual holiday caroling competition. He has a music degree from the Lionel Hampton School of Music at the University of Idaho.

Napolitino has performed many roles, but some of his most memorable are as Professor Harold Hill in The Music Man, Jean Valjean in Les Miserables, The Pirate King in Pirates of Penzance and Captain Von Trapp in The Sound of Music. His other musical credits include Seattle Symphony Chorale, Ovation! Musical Theatre Bainbridge, Driftwood Players, King’s Players, Bainbridge Performing Arts Chamber Music Series and reSound, a Northwest Chamber Ensemble.

In addition to evening fireworks, the An Edmonds Kind of Fourth celebration includes the Beat Brackett 5K, Baby Brackett 1K, Children’s Parade and Main Parade.
