Prep softball: Forseth, Boyd lead Warriors to win over Cedarcrest


The Edmonds-Woodway Warriors came out on top of a back-and-forth Wesco League softball contest against the visiting Cedarcrest Red Wolves on Monday, winning 6-3 at Edmonds-Woodway High School.

The Warriors trailed 3-2 going into the home half of the fourth inning, but came up with single runs in the fourth and fifth innings, plus two more in the sixth, to grab the win.

Annika Forseth picked up the mound victory for E-W, giving up just three hits. Gracie Boyd had two RBI in the win for the Warriors.
