Prep softball: Warriors beat Scots

The Edmonds-Woodway Warriors posted their most one-sided softball victory of the season, a 9-3 win over the Shorecrest Scots, on Monday at Shorecrest High School.

After yielding two runs to the Scots in the first inning, the Warriors roared back late in the game with runs in the fourth, sixth and seventh innings to earn the win.

E-W will go for a second victory in a row when they challenge the Lynnwood Royals on Wednesday, April 24; first pitch at Edmonds-Woodway High School is scheduled for 4 p.m.
