    Thank you for this wonderful photo of the Osprey in flight.
    There are days and times that I wish I could spread my wings and take flight like that to soar to the ethers away from what I am doing or not doing.

  3. For anyone wanting to know more about osprey, there is a new book out: “Ospreys, The Revival of a Global Raptor” by Alan F. Poole; John Hopkins University Press. Among other subjects, the book discusses how osprey bounced back from the effects of DDT, which nearly wiped out them and many other raptors until it was banned in the late 1960’s.
    One of my photos appears in the book on page 170, but (unfortunately for me), the author erroneously attributed it to someone else.
