We’re pleased to welcome Edmonds-Woodway High School student Ariana Burr as an editorial intern.

“I’ve lived here for about six years now, and I’ve grown to love the community as well as the beautiful scenery of Edmonds,” Burr said. “It’s my dream to be a multi-media journalist with a focus on photojournalism.”

In her free time, Burr said she enjoys “practicing documentary style writing and photography as well as spending time with the people I love.” She is also the head photographer of the EWHS school newspaper, The Warrior Word, as well as the co-president of the school’s photography club, Leaders with a Lens.

  1. Welcome to MEN Ariana. Best wishes for your learning experience with Teresa. In my opinion, you are now part of one of the best things happening in our town at the present time. The future here belongs to you and your fellow young people. Don’t let us old folks mess things up for you too much. New thinking and new approaches to old problems are sorely needed around here.
