Spangler Books’ progressive sale continues through May 29

Spangler Books is closing May 29.

It’s getting down to the wire for Spangler Books.

As we reported in our earlier article, owner James Spangler is closing his store at 111 4th Ave. N. — filled with used books — at the end of May and has been running a progressive sale all month.

Through Memorial Day weekend, you can buy 10 paperbacks or five hardbacks for $1. After Memorial Day through May 29, everything will be free.

Spangler is also selling his bookshelves, chairs, spinner racks, cash register, microwave, table, step stools, postal scales, front counter, vacuum and other miscellaneous items.
