HunniCo held a Kindness Celebration Party at its store last weekend to thank the community who contributed to the launch of their new sparkling honey water beverage, Hunniwater Kindness. Supporters came out to celebrate, sampling the two Kindness flavors that have been released so far.

Several Edmonds businesses that carry HunniCo products contributed with raffle prizes, including Red Twig, Spud Fish & Chips, Walnut Street Coffee, Brigid’s Bottleshop, Ono Poke and The Mar-Ket. In addition, 190 Sunset provided a signature Bees Knees cocktail made with HunniCo honey.

According to HunniCo owner Karin Butler, a WeFunder campaign for the Kindness launch has been a success, raising over $68,000 so far. The campaign closes on June 10, so there is still time to invest in Kindness, she noted.

The mission of HunniCo is “to support kindness through business,” she said. “We are a socially-responsible business, promoting education, social equality, and saving our bee population.”

HunniCo is located at 186 Sunset Ave., in Salish Crossing.
