Scene in Edmonds: Soccer players get pro tips from former Sounders

For the second year, youngsters attending the Sno-King Youth Club summer camp have an opportunity to learn from the professionals, as retired Seattle Sounders players are in Edmonds this week to provide instruction.

“It is an absolute pleasure to be conducting our second annual soccer camp in partnership with Sno-King Youth Soccer Club,” said James Riley, who was joined by other ex-Sounders Steve Zakuani and Amadou Sanyang on the field at the former Woodway High School campus. “We couldn’t be happier with the staff, facilities and campers. We look forward to being back year after year to give back to this wonderful Edmonds community.”
