Scene in Edmonds: Eagle Scout project at Marina Beach

Edmonds’ Marina Beach Park has some newly repainted picnic tables, thanks to an Edmonds-Woodway High School junior working toward his Eagle Scout award.

Kell Colony of BSA Troop 312 oversaw a project that involved repainting 50 picnic table boards for five picnic tables on the grass area at Marina Beach, said City of Edmonds Parks Manager Rich Lindsay. On Wednesday, Colony and other Troop 312 members showed up with hammers, tape measurers and screwdrivers to complete the job.
