Edmonds Petanque Club tournament raises nearly $8,400 for food bank

The Edmonds Petanque Club’s Sept. 7 Food Bank Tournament raised a record amount of funds — $8,379.87 — to benefit the Edmonds Food Bank.
According to the club’s Michelle Martin, the tournament had the most participants ever, along with “exceptional support from the merchants and businesses in the community, and  in-kind donations.
“The Edmonds Petanque Club and the food bank are very appreciative for the  support to help the needy in our community,” Martin added.
