The City of Edmonds Citizens’ Housing Commission will have its first meeting on Thursday, Sept. 26 at 7 p.m. in the Council Chambers, Public Safety Complex, 250 5th Ave. N., Edmonds.
The meeting will be live-streamed and you can view it by clicking on a link that will be posted on the Housing Commission: www.citizenshousingcommission.org. In addition, a copy of the video will be posted on the city’s website two to four days after the meeting.
This meeting is open to the public. It will be an introductory session and include discussion of a schedule for future meetings. This will be the commission’s first meeting since appointments were completed by the Edmonds City Council and Mayor in late August.
An agenda for the Housing Commission’s Sept. 26 meeting will be posted online, by late in the day on Sept. 23, on the city’s agenda webpage at: http://edmondswa.iqm2.com/Citizens/default.aspx.
Under a city council resolution, the Housing Commission’s mission is to develop housing policy options for council consideration to expand the range of housing (including rental and owned) in Edmonds. Commission recommendations are due by the end of 2020.
