Prep football: Falcons dominate Warriors 35-7

On a night when the late high school game at Edmonds Stadium was postponed due to vandalism of stadium lights, it was the Woodinville Falcons that played lights out in the early game.

Woodinville earned a 35-7 victory over Edmonds-Woodway in a non-league contest on Friday.

The Falcons, the No. 2-ranked 4A team in the Seattle Times state prep football poll, scored all their points in the first half while the Warriors didn’t get on the scoreboard until late in the fourth quarter.

E-W (1-2 overall) will next get ready for its annual “Jam the Stands” matchup against rival Meadowdale Friday, Sept. 27; kickoff is set for 8 p.m.
