Warriors sports roundup: 4th straight win for girls soccer

The Edmonds-Woodway Warriors won their fourth match in a row to begin the 2019 prep girls soccer season with a 2-1 triumph over the Everett Seagulls Thursday at Edmonds Stadium.

Kyra Hicks and Deanna Montero-Vega scored the Warriors’ goals to lead the team to victory.

In other E-W sports on Thursday, the Warriors’ boys tennis team picked up a win with a 5-2 defeat of the Lynnwood Royals at old Woodway High School. The Warriors’ girls swim team lost to the Kamiak Knights 112-57 at the Lynnwood Pool.
