Letter to the editor: A thank you to our patients

Editor:
After more than 28 years serving Edmonds and the greater Edmonds area, I will be closing my solo family medical practice at the end of December 2019.
Words cannot express how grateful I am to be a part of this wonderful greater Edmonds community and for the support and love that so many of the fine residents have provided me over the years. After all these years I do not consider those who have come to our office as patients, but more as a family that has allowed me to care for them over those years. The depth to which many of you have invited me to help with your triumphs and tragedies is something that cannot be measured but is something I will always treasure.
I hope my focus on prevention and wellness has allowed many of you to live healthier and happier lives.
I wish all of you wonderful lives in the future.
Sincerely,
Henry Hochberg, M.D.

  1. The thanks should go to Dr. Hochberg and Gi for the devoted service they have given us over the past years. They have always been available to help us when health needs arose. He is such a good listener and diagnostician than we didn’t ever hesitate asking for his advice. Thee will be dearly missed by my wife and I. We wish them well in future endeavors.

  2. I am so sad. I know you deserve to retire. But only hope I can find another caring doctor. You and Gi have always been so positive and understanding. Thank you for being my doctor all these years. Best wishes for you both on your next adventures.

  3. Henry, you have been my physician, and friendly provider of grace and understanding for 25 years. I want to thank you. There are other doctors, but you will be irreplaceable in so many ways. I wish you nothing but clear sky with no turbulence in the future.

It was an honor to know you.

  4. Dr. Hochberg represented everything a doctor ought to be. Kind, taking time really to listen, sensible advice… I knew him for only a short time, but it was both an honor and a pleasure to have been his patient.
