Scene in Edmonds: Holy Rosary partners with Edmonds Food Bank

Holy Rosary 8th Grade students got a tour of the Edmonds Food Bank Tuesday from Director Casey Davis, launching a new volunteer partnership between Holy Rosary School and their neighbors at the food bank based in the Edmonds Methodist Church next door. As part of the partnership led by Holy Rosary’s 8th grade teacher Kelly Stevens, rotating groups of students and their parents will begin volunteering at the food bank each week. 1. I love to see students participating in their community! Teacher Dave Rehberger has led St. Thomas More 7th graders to the Lynnwood Food Bank for years. Middle school is a great age to start discovering how a single person can impact their community.
