The Verdant Health Commission and its partners are hosting their inaugural health conference for Spanish-speakers on Saturday, Oct. 12, from 9 a.m.-4:30 p.m. at Lynnwood’s Community Life Center.
Titled “Corazón y Conexión,” which translates to “Heart & Connection,” this event will bring together women from our community to learn about health issues and make connections with one another. Professional speakers will deliver messages in Spanish on topics and activities including behavioral health issues like anxiety, depression and mindfulness; brain health related to lifestyle choices; salsa dancing; and more. This event provides an important opportunity to help educate and empower members of our community who might not otherwise have access to this information.
