Edmonds School District to host reproductive health and disease prevention review night Nov. 7

The Edmonds School District is inviting parents and/or guardians to learn about the district’s Reproductive Health and Disease Prevention Curriculum during a drop-in event Thursday, Nov. 7, from 4:30-7:30 p.m. in the Educational Services Center boardrooms. The focus will be the curriculum that is taught in grades 5-12.

Parents and/or guardians are welcome to drop in at anytime, as there is no formal presentation.

Families can review the complete FLASH/KNOW curricula and get answers to their questions.  There will be health teachers, classroom teachers, and a school nurse present to help answer questions about sexual reproduction lessons, HIV/AIDS lessons, and puberty lessons which are all a part of the FLASH & KNOW curriculum.

The Educational Services Center is located 20420 68th Ave. W., Lynnwood
