Scene in Edmonds: A touch of fall magic

It’s fall and that means mushrooms cropping up in lawns, parks and almost everywhere. The storied Amanita muscaria, commonly known as the Fly Agaric, is a familiar fall feature in Edmonds. This classic red and white speckled ‘toadstool’ is found in temperate zones worldwide, and has a long-standing place in the folklore of many cultures for its purported mystical properties.
