Cascadia Art Museum invites all to its annual family-friendly holiday card-making workshop from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 7 at 190 Sunset in Edmonds.
The workshop is designed and will be led by Edmonds artist and Cascadia volunteer and teacher Mona Fairbanks, who will provide all materials for making holiday cards. The project includes creating unique multi-colored stamps, then stamping the design onto card stock and completing the card with colored pencils and markers. The holiday stamps can also be used at home to make more cards.
While you are at Cascadia Art Museum, you can visit the “Vintage Christmas Cards by Northwest Artists, 1909-1990,” one of the most popular exhibits of the year. You can also stop at the Museum Gift and Book Shop, which offers holiday items, art, jewelry, cards, toys, books and exhibit prints.
