The Edmonds Floretum Garden Club invites members and visitors to its chocolate-scented Dec. 16 meeting featuring speaker Aaron Lindstrom, a Theo Chocolate’s ambassador, teacher and chocolatier.
Lindstrom has been working in chocolate for just under a decade. He’s studied to become a chocolatier, has given lectures on cacao at colleges across the country, and has spent time in Colombia working on a cacao farm. As ambassador, he teaches dozens of pairing and tasting classes as well as creates content for the factory tours. He will take the Floretum audience on an adventure, “From Farm to Bar.”
After the speaker, all are invited to stay and enjoy Floretum’s annual Christmas potluck lunch. Members, please bring a dish to share, and guests, please come as you are and enjoy yourselves.
The meeting begins at 10 a.m. with social time and a chocolate festival, announcements and club business at 10:40 a.m., and the speaker at 11 a.m. The potluck will commence at 11:45.
Floretum meets in the third-floor Brackett Room at City Hall, 121 5th Ave. N., Edmonds.
