In a back-and-forth game at Edmonds-Woodway High School, the Warriors came up one point short in a 60-59 loss to the visiting Woodinville Falcons in a non-league boys basketball game on Wednesday.
E-W trailed by a single point at halftime, at the end of the third quarter and at the final buzzer.
Senior Mutdung Bol led the Warriors in scoring with 22 points; the 6-foot-4 guard had scored 23 points in the team’s first contest of the season, a 53-39 victory over Juanita on Dec. 6. Tallak Crawford contributed 12 points in E-W’s loss on Wednesday.
Woodinville’s Cage Schenck led all scorers in the game with 23 points; the Falcon’s Carson Noe added 12 points.
The Warriors will welcome the Kamiak Knights to Edmonds-Woodway High School on Friday for a Wesco League non-conference tilt; tipoff is set for 7:15 p.m.
