Community members and local businesses are invited to an open house Wednesday, Jan. 22 to see proposed changes to State Route 104 in downtown Kingston. The proposal would relocate traffic from the Edmonds-Kingston ferry to Northeast 1st Street in order to accommodate travelers heading to and from the Kingston Ferry Terminal.
The upcoming Washington State Department of Transportation open house follows an in-depth process with local businesses, citizens and Kitsap County. The group has worked to develop potential solutions to improve traffic flow in Kingston.
The open house will run from 4:30-6:30 p.m., Wednesday, Jan. 22 at the Village Green Community Center, 26159 Dulay Road N.E., Kingston
