Republic Services, which serves the City of Edmonds outside of the downtown Bowl area, canceled all trash, recycling and yard/food waste pickup scheduled for Tuesday because of hazardous road conditions.

Customers can put out a double amount of trash and recycling on their next service day, at no additional charge, Republic said.

As for Sound Disposal, which provides collection services in the Edmonds Bowl, City of Edmonds Public Works Director Phil Williams said the company is providing service Tuesday, “but it is going slowly and they may not finish their routes.”

“They are asking everyone to be patient,” Williams said. “They will pick it up as soon as they can.”
