The Great Hall inside Edmonds-Woodway High School hosted a unique boys/girls double dual wrestling event on Tuesday, but the Chief Sealth Seahawks spoiled the party for the Warriors.
Chief Sealth won both duals, sneaking past E-W in the boys match 40-34 and doubling up the Lady Warriors 48-24 in the girls’ match.
In other E-W sports on Tuesday, the Warriors’ girls basketball team picked up a 42-28 road win over the Everett Seagulls at Everett High School. The Warriors are 4-0 in league play and atop the 2A/3A Wesco League standings.
