Local artists on display in Edmonds’ Frances Anderson Center

The Edmonds Arts Commission is featuring the following exhibits in the display cases at the Frances Anderson Center:

Young Artists Display Case: The Edmonds Arts Commission features the artwork of Edmonds-Woodway High School senior Quinlon Merrin in the Youth Art Display Case. Merrin has been involved in leadership with EW’s National Art Honor Society club all four years of high school and is currently serving as co-president of the club. Graduating in June 2020, she will be attending Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles next fall and aspires to a career in animation. She will be majoring in animation in the School of Film and Television.

Edmonds Arts Commission Art Exhibit Display Case: Local artists John Dewhirst and Paul Hudson are exhibiting over 20 hand carved works inspired by Northwest Native culture and their shared passion for wood carving.

 

Both exhibits are on display through March at the Frances Anderson Center, 700 Main Street. Building hours are Mon-Fri, 8:30am – 8:00pm and Sat, 9:00am – 2:00pm
