Washington State Gov. Jay Inslee made a quick stop in Edmonds Friday afternoon, visiting with Mayor Mike Nelson for about a half hour.
The governor said he was particularly pleased with efforts underway at the Edmonds Marsh, calling it an “important issue,” and he also praised the progress being made with the Edmonds Waterfront Center, which is replacing the Edmonds Senior Center.
“We had a great discussion about areas of mutual interest and how we can best work together,” Nelson said.
