Blooms to brighten your day

P and K Gardens, based in Monroe, normally sells its flower at Seattle’s Pike Place Market. With the market closed until further notice, these bright bouquets are being sold in Mountlake Terrace on weekends.

They will be open every Friday through Sunday, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.,  232nd Street Southwest and 56th Avenue West (between Espresso Break and the 76 gas station).

  1. Thank you for this article and to Chaplain Prescott for the advice. As a person that incorporates Buddhist tenets into my life, being reminded of the simpler approach to coping with the current challenges has been very helpful.
My love and hope go out to everyone. May we come out of this as a more peaceful and caring society.

  2. The flowers aren’t there today (Friday)… would love to get some flowers for Easter weekend. Any updates on the location?

    1. HI Ruth — we were told by the flower seller that they had to leave because they were a “non-essential business.”
