Scene nearby: Thousands gather in Shoreline for Peaceful Protest Honoring Black Lives Lost

A number of Edmonds residents were among the estimated 4,000 people who participated in Shoreline’s Peaceful Protest Honoring Black Lives Lost Saturday, which included a march and car caravan followed by a gathering at Cromwell Park Saturday. According to Shoreline Area News, which provided these photos, this was a student-led protest with speakers from the Black Students’ Unions from Shorewood and Shorecrest high schools.
