Anthony’s Seafood Truck is heading to Edmonds on Wednesday, Aug. 5 and will be parked across the street from Anthony’s HomePort and Beach Cafe — at 456 Admiral Way — from 10 a.m.-2 p.m., or until supplies last.
Seafood and meat will be available for the public to purchase and take home to prepare.
Here’s the menu:
Wowza! This is “Restaurant Grade” Seafood! The Oregon Crab is beautiful, and is very large. This quality is not usually sold except to restaurants first. Thank you Anthony’s for offering this to we who support Anthony’s all year long!
The crab I purchased yesterday from Anthony’s was incredibly delicious and sweet. Crab is usually cooked in a brine (salty) but has to be rinsed for a long time in cool water. Our crab was frozen when we purchased and I kept rinsing it with cool, fresh water as it thawed. I’m from Alaska, and really picky about my crab. I served what was left today to my daughter who was raised in Alaska and she agreed, it was very good and not salty, which is a common problem with crab when served in a restaurant. So, I’m not sure if the crab sold is cooked in a uniform way, or varies with each batch, or what their rinsing practices entail.
Monika, would you share recommendations on what else you purchased? Any opinions on the King Salmon? Thank you.
I bought a lot of items which i was pleased with but i found the Oregon Crab really salty compared to any other crab i’ve ever purchased. Maybe they soak in a brine solution or cook in really salty walter?… i wouldn’t buy that again
