After a summer of creating a safe social distancing space to enjoy the best views in Edmonds, Sunset Avenue reopened Friday to parking and vehicle traffic — just in time for the return of fall rain.

Not having been to Edmonds since the mid 70’s can someone refresh my memory, is Sunset to the North or South of the ferry landing. We used to grab hamburgers and go to a nice beach just north of the ferry dock to eat and watch the divers come out of the water with their catches. Also used to walk out on the piers just south of ferry dock and buy live crabs to pack in ice and bring back home to Wenatchee. Growing up in Alderwood Manor in 50’s and early 60’s have a lot of memories of the area. Wonder if any of those are still there or possible now days. (Thinking of the nice little movie theatre in downtown)
