A Saturday food drive sponsored by the Edmonds Lions Club at Walnut Street Coffee generated 1,622 pounds of food and $1,773 in cash donations for the Edmonds Food Bank.

“The Edmonds community is really generous,” noted Jim Forgey of the Lions Club.

Miss the drive? You can make a cash donation to the food bank here.

  1. One benevolent Edmonds group helping another benevolent Edmonds group. Looks like a plan to me. Great job folks.
