Photographer Michael P. Lowell sent this photo sequence of two Blue Herons engaged in a dispute at the Edmonds Marsh Wednesday morning. “The one on the right was the aggressor,” Lowell said. “It spied a heron that seemed to be encroaching on his territory and it pounced.”
















Nice photo sequence! Who would have guessed our peaceful marsh could be the scene of such discord?
Cliff my old neighbor, maybe your eyes are better than mine. Can you tell which heron was the Republican?
