Inslee announces eviction moratorium extension to March 31

Washington Gov. Jay Inslee on Wednesday announced that he will extend the state’s eviction moratorium to March 31, 2021. The current eviction moratorium was set to expire on Dec. 31.

“COVID-19 has had a significant financial impact on Washingtonians over the last nine months,” Inslee said. “I know this moratorium has been critical for many families and individuals as they cope with the impacts of this virus. People need certainty about whether the moratorium will be extended, and it is important that I provide that certainty today while we work out the final details of the moratorium.”

Additional details and a full announcement will come next week, the governor’s office said.

  1. Is the governor holding up the distrubution of covid shots to those 75 and over until March 31? Absolutely zero has been reported on this main issue! Why not?

If someone knows more on this subject please let us know!

    1. Just like you Ray, I’m also waiting to hear. It seems like this has been decided in other states, but Inslee has told us nothing.

  2. The only thing that has caused financial uncertainty and ruin in this state over the past 10 months is Inslee’s warrantless lockdowns .What he has done to this state is criminal and no one cares except those who have had to suffer through it losing their jobs, small businesses, education, and sanity. When will people start thinking for themselves, do some simple math and understand the destructive magnitude of this politically caused debacle?
