Toiletry and sock drive at Edmonds Museum Market Saturday

This Saturday, May 22, at the Edmonds Summer Market Information Booth, the Edmonds Historical Museum will be collecting items for the Comfort and Encourage Project’s toiletry and sock drive.

The museum will be gathering unused toiletry and socks in support of this local non-profit’s mission to combat the three Hs: hygiene, hunger and homelessness.

The market runs from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday at 5th Avenue and Bell Street in downtown Edmonds.

  1. Wonderful idea! We should have the drive every month. So many people in need! Thank you for your compassion!

  2. Sock drives are more important than people realize. We tend to overlook that it is the simplest needs that mean the most. I have written and illustrated a childrens book about a child who loves socks. The book was inspired by my sister who was a long time Edmonds resident. The book has been a part of many successful sock drives and I would be happy to help in that capacity in future socks drives, if it would be a help.
    People helping people.
