Scene in Edmonds: This one didn’t get away

Photographer Julia Wiese just happened to be walking by to see Ray filling out his salmon card after he caught a King salmon Saturday morning at the Edmonds Fishing Pier. The estimated weight was 10 lbs.
  1. Nice. Thats a beauty!! Nice shot! Got your stringer ready? I think tonight about 7:15 they will swing by again Ray. Go get em. All I have is my zebco 404 haha. I brought it with me from Rural Central US as well as my Grandfathers old wood lures. 31 years or so ago. I didn’t know when I moved here how my fishing rig would be mocked haha. I didn’t get into the fishing here as we aren’t boaters etc. But I did once get to go out in a big boat with my boss and caught a real pretty and nice sized Silver Salmon. Learned to clean it and fillet it and had enough left over for several salmon steaks too. I loved as a kid fishing with a bobber ( I still have those too) that feeling in the finger just slight….wait wait wait …pull!!! HAHAHHA. Have Fun Ray. Deb.
That is the cleanest fish cleaner I have ever seen. Very nice.
