With the current high price of lumber it a shame I cannot legally beach comb the logs!
Have the city cut some up. First come first serve for firewood.

Totally unaware or the rules here -so take this as a “concept”.
What if at the next high tide those logs left their perch in the sand and became floating flotsam in the water. They would no longer be fixtures of the public beach, but rather hazards in the water. A boater could simply chain up or rope up several logs and tow them to a safer location – a place where there is no rule against harvesting a log, and simply let the logs beach themselves as the tide recedes.
