Letter to the editor: Supporting Petra Bigea for 21st District legislative seat

Editor:

I have become acquainted with Petra Bigea over several years while I studied government and participated in politics here in the 21st Legislative District.

Petra understands the dangers of, and what can happen when, citizens are attracted to the allure of big government.

Petra, like many others, believes our rights – even the very basic ones – are eroding away and that something must be done to protect them.

She is very involved in what you might call the “New” movement toward freedom and liberty – and she doesn’t mind sharing with you why it’s important to protect these goals.

Petra is a hard worker with first-hand knowledge of what life would be like if we let our rights be taken away from us and she believes government should work for the people not the other way around.

Petra would be an excellent Representative for the people in the 21st Legislative District and for all of the citizens of Washington state.

Please elect Petra Bigea to the Washington State House of Representatives in the 21st Legislative District.

  1. It’s a pity she didn’t participate in the League of Women Voters candidate forum so that we could get to know her.

  2. Just looked at her web page and her platform is nothing but vagueness. Apparently afraid to say in plain english what she advocates for and against. She doesn’t like big government….but what is her stand on women’s rights to make their own medical decisions? What is her take on government responsibility to protect citizens and address climate change? What is her response to equal rights for all citizens-even those who are transgender? What is her suggestion to resolve issues of homelessness, mental health crisis in schools and communities? This is information I would like to hear before I consider voting for someone.

  3. Petra grew up under communism in Romania. English is her second language. She is well aware of the dangers we presently face. She was “let go” from Swedish for refusing the experimental covid vaccine. At present there is no approved vaccine OR covid test. Both have an EUA or emergency use authorization. The Nuremberg Code states: “The voluntary consent of the human subject is absolutely essential”.
In 2018 Lillian Ortiz-Self blamed our property tax increase on the GOP. The GOP was the minority party in the State of Washington. It would be impossible for the GOP to raise any taxes without the Democrats support. Lillian refused to respond to my inquires until my letter was published in an Edmonds Newspaper. She later admitted that she had voted for the property tax increase that she blamed on Republicans. Lillian has overstayed her welcome. It is time to elect someone that will represent us. My vote is for Petra.

    1. Correction: The clinic Petra was “released” from had been purchased by UW Medicine along with Northwest Hospital. Her termination was by UW, and not Swedish.
