Romance was in the air at downtown Edmonds’ Fire and the Feast Friday night when a customer popped the question. “And she said yes,” noted proprietor Shubert Ho via a Tweet marking the special occasion.

Thanks Deborah! This was me proposing to Maureen Jones on Friday night. The Fire and The Feast staff made this so memorable and pulled off a great surprise (to Maureen’s joy and embarrasment!). Thank you to Chef Dan and the crew for the ring presentation on an amazing charcuterie board and the mouth watering Bolognese Tagliatelle. I’m grateful to Sergio and team for coordinating the surprise of roses and the ring. I threw my phone to Sergio and he caught the moment with sounds of the restaurant exploding in cheers and ovation…so humbling. Also, thanks to the 4 lovely women who sent us the flutes champagne :). We will be married in this wonderful town of Edmonds in April.
