Edmonds scenics: Wednesday on the waterfront

  1. These are beautiful pictures. But how about a series of photos of the graffiti and tagging in Edmonds? If you haven’t noticed the uptick in this form of illegal activity in our city, for starters, I invite you to check out the fence on the northside of 212th across from the field at Edmonds Woodway HS or the tagging on the Boiling Point building at the intersection of 220th and Highway 99. And what about the utility boxes on 76th near 208th? Is the tagging on the gray retaining wall across from the Brackett’s Landing parking lot still on display?

Please feel free to submit a comment with other locations where things aren’t so lovely. And then, let’s figure out how we can reduce this illegal activity in Edmonds together.

  2. Thanks, Rebecca, for not brushing-off low level crime. Working with graffiti “artists” seems to be a good fit for EPD’s Community Engagement Officer. I hope it happens.
