Scene nearby: Saturday at Green Lake

It was a cold and clear Saturday morning at Seattle’s Green Lake.

  1. When I moved to Seattle in ’58, I was always the only person walking Green Lake. Later, in my mid 30’s to mid 60’s I walked or jogged it nearly every day. It smelled SO good in mid Spring. Beautiful photos.

  2. I jogged Green Lake daily before it was paved. Walkers, or those sitting, would say, “Do you go all the way around.” Actually, I was going around two or three times. I have not been there since it became so popular.
