During the meeting, ferries leadership will update the public on the latest information from the organization. The majority of the meeting time will be devoted to answering questions from participants.

  1. The ferry system should be run as independent business no money should go into transportation. At the four boats that run in the saun Juan’s islands my opinion make to many runs to islands at an estimated cost for fuel 3.200 gallons a day not counting six deck hands two in engine room three on bridge. Plus people on phone and ticket booths that is a huge cost per day. And you think new boats are going to solve your problems, you need to upgrade your procedure of loading and unloading boat not all deck hands are trained properly for hand signals to where they want you to go, an over head light system would be better controlled by a remote that the deck hands could operate. Also you need like the trucking company use to log into a truck to keep track of your employees punch in an out also keep track of there hours. If none of this make sense to you if you can’t take my word for it there’s probably several ferry systems out there that are doing a better job than you.
