Edmonds ferry terminal walkway will be out of service Tuesday

According to the Washington State Ferries, the overhead walkway at the Edmonds Terminal will be taken out of service on Tuesday due to necessary maintenance. Passengers will load and unload via the auto deck for the 10:20 p.m. and 11:45 p.m. departures from Edmonds.

Beginning today, fares on Washington State Ferries will go up 2.5 percent. Walk-on passengers will now pay $7.10 for a round trip, up from $6.90. Car and driver fares will rise be $12.15 each way, up from $11.85.
