Scene in Edmonds: Fish frenzy

During her walk on the Edmonds Fishing Pier Monday, Julia Wiese noticed a strange movement in the water: it was a school of thousands of tiny fish. “The school moved in a murmuration, jumping out of the water in a group every once in a while,” she said.

Julia Wiese went on a walk Thursday morning starting at the Edmonds Fishing Pier and ending at Marina Beach. “The tide was high, approaching 12.5 feet at 8:19 a.m., so close to its peak when I shot this video at 7:54,” she said.
