Nevember 18th & 19th 9-5. The Graphite Artists’ Sale will feature exceptional fine art and unique handcrafted items in various styles and media. This annual event, held just prior to Thanksgiving, promises an array of one-of-a-kind creations that will make perfect holiday gifts. A portion of the proceeds from this sale will benefit the non-profit, Art Start Northwest.
Participating artists include: Rainny Zhao, Amy Pleasant, Johanne Friedrichs, Bill Whitbeck, Sarah Crumb, Julie Perrine, Mike O’Day, Jill Owen, Richard Zhang, Ken Ketchum, Dana Len, Jenny Duntz, Scott Anstett, Jane Behrens, Rebecca Hartsook, Lisa Szilassy, Sue Robertson, Judith Larsen, Vicki Hone Smith and Missy Hancock.
While at Graphite for the Artists’ Sale, guests are encouraged to visit The Gallery at Graphite to see the group show Narrative: The Art of Storytelling. Narrative featured works by 10 of Graphite’s full-time resident studio artists. The Gallery at Graphite will be open all weekend for the sale. Regular gallery hours are: Saturdays 12-4PM; daily 4-9PM with access through Charcoal Restaurant; and on the third Thursday of the month from 5-8PM during Art Walk Edmonds.
About Graphite Arts Center – Graphite opened its doors to the public in the spring of 2022 under the visionary leadership of owner Mary Olsen. Graphite is a vibrant, active, multi-use arts center. Graphite Arts Center includes The Gallery at Graphite, an art book library, classroom space, artist studios, and more. Graphite hosts monthly movie nights and is open during Art Walk Edmonds on the third Thursday of the month. Graphite is home to Art Start Northwest a nonprofit housed in Graphite. The aim is to bring art education to the schools and the public. ASNW offers teachers the direction and supplies to teach art in the classrooms.
Graphite Arts Center is located at 202 Main Street in Edmonds, WA. Free parking in rear lot. Three hour street parking available. Find us near the end of SR 104 just up the hill from the Edmonds-Kingston ferry dock.
